About Aircast

We were founded with a simple but powerful belief: live should truly be live, everywhere, for everyone. This core conviction motivated us to tackle the biggest challenge in streaming technology — latency — ensuring that audiences experience content in real time without delays or interruptions.

Company Milestones

  • After a year of intensive research and development, we unveiled our first MVP: a low-latency streaming service that connected directly to mobile devices, proving our vision could work.

  • AIRCAST delivered a large-scale network and IPTV solution across 25 venues at the Commonwealth Games, managing end-to-end broadcast distribution for international media, broadcasters, and operational stakeholders. This demonstrated AIRCAST’s ability to scale across a multi-sport, multi-country event with mission-critical reliability.

  • We engineered a custom video decoder integrated into our mobile app, pushing latency even lower. This innovation opened the door to live testing with sports leagues, broadcasters, and stadium partners.

  • Our relentless pursuit paid off. AIRCAST achieved an unprecedented 0.3-second latency, establishing a new global benchmark for streaming technology—delivering ultra-low latency, high availability, and multi-view live streaming for everyone over shared and wireless networks.

  • Conducted our first U.S. Major League Baseball trial with the San Francisco Giants, delivering instant replays, commentary, and real-time feeds direct to fans.

  • Delivered basketball matches in Australia’s WNBL with multiview video and in-venue commentary for fans.

  • Built a 2nd-generation HD video network connecting 24 racecourses (supports Hawkeye/Trakus, control-room connectivity).

  • Powered the FIFA Women’s World Cup across 10 stadiums in Australia and New Zealand, streaming to 1,200+ in-venue screens and 800+ media/commentary positions. This marked the first-ever FIFA deployment of simultaneous multicast/unicast and wireless real-time streaming.

  • Selected for the prerstigous Comcast NBCUniversal SportsTech Accelerator, collaborating with NBC Sports, PGA Tour, WWE, NASCAR, and Xfinity.

  • Launched the AIRCAST SDK, enabling broadcasters and partners to plug AIRCAST into their own apps, unlocking seamless distribution and monetization. Delivery Aircast at Golden One Center for NBA games.

  • Introduced real-time ad serving and optional in-game sports wagering integrations with the ultra-low latency stream, opening up new revenue streams for partners
